Description

Hekate: Reclaiming the Ancient Goddess

By Wyn Abbot

Discover the deeper origins of one of the most revered and mysterious goddesses of the ancient world.

In this beautifully researched and thought-provoking book, Wyn Abbot explores the history, mythology and symbolism of Hekate, tracing her roots beyond the familiar Greek pantheon to a much older and more ancient Mother Goddess tradition. Combining historical research with mythology and spiritual insight, the book reveals Hekate as a powerful embodiment of the Divine Feminine and a guide through life’s thresholds and transformations.

Hekate is the goddess of liminal spaces — the places where roads divide, where one phase of life ends and another begins, and where the veil between worlds grows thin. She is a goddess of crossroads, boundaries, intuition, magic and personal transformation.

Whether you are new to Hekate or have worked with her for many years, this book offers a deeper understanding of her origins, her symbolism and her enduring relevance in the modern world.
