I am not lost.I am finding.

There are times when you know something needs to change, but you can't quite see what comes next.

You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, at a crossroads, disconnected from yourself — or simply know that something doesn't feel quite right anymore.

Wayfinder is a space to slow things down, understand where you are now and begin listening to what might be asking for your attention.

You don't need to arrive with the answer.

When the path goes foggy

Sometimes the difficulty isn't that there are no answers.

It's that there is so much noise around us that it's difficult to hear ourselves.

Advice. Expectations. Responsibilities. Other people's opinions. Social media. Self-help. Spirituality. Therapy language. The voice telling us what we should be doing.

And sometimes our own thoughts simply won't stop long enough for us to know what we actually feel.

Misty woodland in soft morning light

You might find yourself thinking:

“My head won't switch off.”

“I don't know what I want anymore.”

“Everything feels too much.”

“I know something needs to change, but I don't know what.”

“I keep going round in circles.”

“I don't feel like myself.”

“I just need some space.”

“My head won't switch off.”

“I don't know what I want anymore.”

“Everything feels too much.”

“I know something needs to change, but I don't know what.”

“I keep going round in circles.”

“I don't feel like myself.”

“I just need some space.”

Wayfinder doesn't begin by deciding what any of those things mean.

We begin with where you are.

The problem isn't the diagnosis. It's the doorway.

What you arrive with gives us somewhere to begin.
It doesn't define you.

Maybe you don't need another answer.

When we feel stuck, the natural response is often to search harder.

Another book.

Another video.

Another technique.

Another person's opinion.

Another thing to try.

Sometimes those things are useful.

But sometimes they simply add another voice to an already noisy room.

Wayfinder isn't about giving you another hundred things to do.

Sometimes the first thing we need is enough space to hear what is already happening.

Before I reach for a tool, I listen.

Person first. Tool second.

Counselling meets Glastonbury.

Wayfinder sits somewhere between two worlds that don't always get put in the same room. And I think there's value in both.

Grounded

Conversation. Listening. Counselling skills. CBT-informed reflection. Values. Patterns. Boundaries. Exploring choices.

Looking at what we know, what we're assuming and what we're frightened might happen.

Practical next steps where they're useful.

Spiritual & experiential

Sound. Meditation. Reiki and energy work. Intuition. Symbolism. Ritual. Cards. Landscape. Seasonal reflection.

The things we sometimes sense before we can fully explain them.

You don't have to choose a side.

And you don't have to use everything.

Some people need conversation.

Some need quiet.

Some find something shifts through sound.

Some want to explore the spiritual meaning of what's happening.

Some want nothing spiritual at all.

We start with you, then decide what might actually be useful.

A few things I believe about finding your way

The problem isn't the diagnosis. It's the doorway.

What brings you here matters.

It might be anxiety, overwhelm, change, uncertainty, feeling stuck, losing direction or something you can't quite put into words yet.

A diagnosis or label may sometimes help describe part of what you're experiencing. But it doesn't have to become the definition of who you are.

For me, the presenting problem is a doorway.

It's somewhere we can begin.

Not knowing doesn't mean you're lost.

There are times when the old direction no longer fits and the new one hasn't appeared yet.

We can be very quick to treat that uncertainty as something that needs fixing.

Wayfinder makes room for something different.

Sometimes the first step isn't finding the answer.

It's creating enough quiet to notice where you actually are.

Person first.Tool second.

I don't begin by deciding you need Reiki, sound, coaching, CBT-informed reflection or a particular technique.

I begin with you.

We listen to what's happening, what you need and what feels appropriate.

Sometimes a particular tool may help.

Sometimes it won't.

You don't need another hundred things to try.

The Wayfinder is you.

I'm not the voice that tells you which path to take.

I can listen, ask questions, reflect things back, offer another perspective and sometimes help you see more of the landscape.

But I don't want to become the authority on your life.

The direction remains yours.

The Wayfinder is you.

How it often unfolds

There isn't a script for a Wayfinder session. But there are movements I notice we often pass through together.

Not always in this order. Sometimes we return to something. Sometimes one part is enough for the whole session.

ARRIVEWhere are you now?

We start with what brought you here. Not where you think you should be. Where you actually are.

SETTLEMake some space.

Sometimes talking and thinking harder isn't the first thing we need. We may simply need to slow things down enough to be present with what's here.

LISTENWhat's actually going on?

We gently explore what you're experiencing without rushing to fix it or decide what it means.

NOTICEWhat keeps appearing?

A thought. A feeling. A pattern. An expectation. A fear. Something you've been putting aside. We notice without forcing an explanation.

ORIENTATEWhat matters now?

Not what mattered five years ago. Not what somebody else thinks should matter. What matters to you, here?

EXPLOREWhat paths are available?

We can look at possibilities without immediately having to choose one. Sometimes clarity comes simply from realising there are more options than we thought.

CHOOSEWhat feels like enough of a next step?

You don't need a five-year plan. The next step might be a decision. A conversation. A boundary. Rest. More information. Or deciding you're not ready to decide yet.

INTEGRATEWhat are you taking with you?

Before you return to everyday life, we notice what you want to remember, practise, explore or simply hold onto.

You don't have to see the whole pathto take the next step.

I'm not the voice that tells you which path to take.

I'm not here to hand you a map of what your life should look like.

I'm not here to decide what your experience means before I've heard it.

And I'm not here to make you dependent upon me for every next step.

My role is closer to walking beside you for part of the journey.

Listening.

Asking questions.

Helping things slow down.

Sometimes gently challenging something.

Sometimes offering another perspective.

Sometimes bringing in a practice or tool that might help.

And sometimes simply giving you somewhere safe enough to hear yourself.

Eventually, our paths separate again.

Because the aim isn't for me to become your compass.

The Wayfinder is you.

What Wayfinder isn't

It isn't someone telling you what to do.

Your choices remain yours.

It isn't a diagnosis.

We can explore what you're experiencing without reducing you to a label.

It isn't a fixed programme.

There isn't one route everybody has to follow.

It isn't every tool in the box thrown at you.

Just because I can use something doesn't mean it's right for you.

It isn't about having all the answers.

Sometimes understanding where you are is enough for now.

What you might leave with

There isn't one destination everyone is trying to reach.

And your destination may change depending on where you are in your life.

You might leave with a better understanding of where you are now.

A calmer sense of yourself.

Something you've been carrying may feel a little less noisy.

You might notice a choice you couldn't see before.

You might recognise a next step.

Or you might simply have experienced somewhere safe enough to hear yourself properly.

Sometimes that is enough.

“I still can't see the whole path. But I can see my next step.”

That matters more to me than promising you a particular outcome.

Experience Wayfinder 1:1

Wayfinder 1:1 is a private space to explore whatever is bringing you to this point.

Your first session gives us more time to understand where you are, what has been happening and what kind of support might actually be useful.

From there, we can decide together what comes next.

Depending on you, sessions might include conversation, reflection, grounding, sound, meditation, Reiki, CBT-informed questions, intuitive or symbolic work, or simply space to talk and be heard.

Not everyone gets every tool.
And that's the point.
